Calling all Pirates!: After teaching yesterday morning at Siemens HQs in Floridsdorf, I treated myself to a little lunch. I couldn’t resist flipping through their coffee shop’s menu booklet and snapping the picture above. “Plunder” is the only German word of the four, but it too has an English meaning, which of course is why this is funny.
“Plunder" could be translated into English as "danish". Whereas plunder could be translated into German as Beute.
